If your child is in Grade 3 this year, he/she will take part in a standardized provincial Grade 3 test in Reading, Writing, and Math at the end of May 2018. In order to better prepare for the test, I suggest that you visit and explore the EQAO website (please see the link on the bottom of this page). You can find test packages from previous years, examples of the students’ answers categorized into four levels (with Level 1 being the lowest and Level 4 being the highest), and other helpful tips. If you’ll try to work with your child on any of the EQAO questions, it will help demystify the test for them and he/she will feel more comfortable and better prepared.
